About Us

The Community Center of La Cañada Flintridge is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1949. Originally known as the La Cañada Youth House and built entirely by volunteers, it has served the needs of thousands of children and adults for over 70 years. We offer a variety of enriching recreational, social, and educational opportunities for members of the Crescenta-Cañada communities and surrounding areas.

  • Our renowned Ceramics Program, started in 1969, runs 6 days a week and boasts 5 kilns
  • Our award-winning Preschool is in a charming former home with a large park-like yard
  • Our Thanksgiving Day Run and Food Drive started in 1993
